Central Surrey Health scooped a win at the annual Philip Baxendale Awards in the competitive Employee Engagement category. It was also Highly Commended in the category that recognised the Most Successful Public Sector Mutual.
The Employee Engagement category celebrates organisations that ‘achieve meaningful engagement with employees, and drive notable activity to strengthen a culture of
productive partnership and increase employee well-being.’
Central Surrey Health’s co-owners demonstrate extraordinarily high awareness and understanding of its strategy and vision, and motivation levels, all of which contribute
to higher levels of engagement.
Tricia McGregor, Managing Director of CSH, says: “Yet again our unique co-ownership model is delivering higher engagement and morale, lower absenteeism and better patient experience than traditional models. We outperform NHS counterparts in all key areas in annual surveys, from ethos to effort. The result is highly engaged and motivated co-owners who deliver better quality healthcare.”
