Band 6 Service Coordinator - Insulin Team
This role is full or part time, hours negotiable between 8:00 and 20:00 over a 7-day service.
Salary: £32,306 to £39,027 a year Plus 5% high cost allowance, pro annum pro rata.

As the Service Coordinator you will lead the team, motivate staff, problem solve, implement change, be a role model demonstrating the behaviours expected from all the staff with regard to displaying excellent interpersonal skills and high degree of professionalism, upholding the organisation’s standards.
You will delegate work to a team of Healthcare Assistants who administer insulins to our people in the community. You will also administer people’s daily or twice daily insulin injections where required.
This role will require working across Woking, Walton and Staines localities.
Health Care Assistant Insulin Administration Team Band 3
Varied locations across north west Surrey
Part time sessional am and / or pm - the work requires a flexible approach to hours of employment. The department operates over a 7-day service which includes bank holidays.
Salary: £20330 to £21777 a year +5% HCA, Pro rata per annum
The post holder will be undertaking blood glucose monitoring, administration of insulin and be able to identify a deteriorating patient. This will be based in clinical settings which include patients’ own homes and residential homes, and the post holder will be working without direct supervision.
Requirements for the role
AS/A Level, NVQ Level 3, Vocational Level 3 qualifications, or equivalent relevant knowledge.
Successful candidates will be assessed on their practical skills and knowledge base (training will be provided) and must have reached competency levels prior to working unsupervised.

Working as a community rehabilitation and sub-acute ward, you will have time to build relationships with patients and their families, involving them in planning safe and effective care and discharge plans.
